Ashley has worked at Hyundai of Keene for three years. She is being recognized as employee of the month this month for her commitment to helping rescue Australian Cattle Dogs from kill shelters. She works with ACDRA, the Austrailian Cattle Dog Rescue Association. Ashey fosters dogs, and gives them a home and companionship until they are adopted. She has been fostering for ACDRA for over a year, and has found homes for five dogs.
Here is a little bit from Ashley about what she does and why she does it!
I
have been fostering for ACDRA for a little over a year now and love
what I do. Throughout that time I have found homes for 5 different
dogs, all touched my heart while they were with me. Cattle dogs are my
favorite dogs to foster because they are so intelligent and love
pleasing their human companions. They also have their stubborn streaks
and like to think for themselves but it can make for some interesting
play times! :) ACDRA has been organized since 2002 and has saved well
over 200 cattle dogs from being euthanized. We have very few foster
homes but do what we can with what we have. If you would like to learn
more about the rescue or look at the different dogs we have please

Meet Sparrow, Ashley's current foster dog!
Sparrow
is my current foster dog through the Australian Cattle Dog Rescue
Association. He was in a kill shelter in PA and was due to be
euthanized on a Friday night. I stepped in at 3 pm and said I would
take him in, he only had 4 hours left. Since then he has been learning
how to behave and be a wonderful family pet. He loves playing in the
water and hanging around the farm. He is so full of energy and life.
Sparrow in extremely intelligent and learns everything very quickly.
He, as well as I, are looking forward to finding him that special
forever home!
